I'm Lewin Panjaitan.

I grew up in a village located in Tangerang, Banten. I’m currently working as a Software Engineer – Web Platform (you may be more familiar with the term “Programmer”) at Batam Indonesia Free Zone Authority. I previously worked as a Software Engineer at a start-up called Manggala Teknologi Nusantara.

Currently, I’m a member of Google Developer Student Clubs and a volunteer at the Surabayadev Community. My previous experiences include being an alumnus of Frontend Training by the Ministry of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia, Java Programming Training by BPSDMP Surabaya, ASEAN Data Science Training, Baparekraf Developer Training Ministry of Tourism Republic of Indonesia, Software Engineer Training at PT Manggala, Dicoding Programming Training by Dicoding, BNSP Graphic Designer Training by National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Training by Oracle, DevOps Foundation: CI/CD, Docker & Kubernetes Fundamentals Training by Inixindo.

Previously, I participated in the following organizations:

Coordinator of Publication and Documentation at NHKBP (Naposobulung HKBP, the youth congregation of HKBP). Responsible for coordinating with each member to capture every moment during Naposo’s events and activities, creating a schedule for uploading content to Instagram for each activity, compiling and sorting the best videos and photos for documentation, and recording all income and expenditure data from the formation of the administration until the end of the term.

Member of the Information Technology Division at HKBP (Huria Kristen Batak Protestan). Responsible for supporting church services in disseminating information about church activities, utilizing electronic information technology and social media.

Member of the Association of Social Communication and Information Systems Students, Faculty of Computer Science. Served as Coordinator of Social Communication and Information; Coordinator of the Event Documentation Division for the Fasilkom Gathering; Mentor for the Fasilkom Inauguration; Coordinator of the Communication and Information Division at the “Social Media for Business” Seminar; and Coordinator of the National Seminar “Innovation of Technologies.”

Currently, I work as a Software Engineer, focusing on application development and maintenance. I work with Laravel, CodeIgniter, jQuery, and Vue.js to build and maintain projects. All of these are developed through analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation, with the output thoroughly documented.

I’m currently based in Batam and work at Batam Indonesia Free Zone Authority as a Software Engineer.
